There was a time in my life when I didn’t think that I was pretty or beautiful. I thought that I had to be tall, have long flowing hair, lighter skin complexion, pearly white un-spaced teeth (those who have gaps, you know what I mean) to be beautiful. Until I met God. Then I realise that Beauty, true Beauty has nothing to do with the text
There was a time in my life when I didn’t think that I was pretty or beautiful. I thought that I had to be tall, have long flowing hair, lighter skin complexion, pearly white un-spaced teeth (those who have gaps, you know what I mean) to be beautiful. Until I met God. Then I realise that Beauty, true Beauty has nothing to do with the texture or length of my hair, nor the colour of my skin, not how tall I was, or how big or small my breast are. Beauty, true Beauty, and being Beautiful is all about character – the way I love and treat myself and others around me.
To truly love oneself, flaws and all, and those around you, is what makes beauty radiate out of anyone, no matter who they are. I am beautiful because God created me, and most importantly, because He died for me.
One of my greatest aims is that no matter who I come in contact with, that person must leave my presence feeling the presence of godly love and knowing and feeling that they are Beautiful.
